  • I have read the Contribution guide
  • This PR references an issue (editorial pass, no issue)

Description(required)

An editing pass over the hand-written 2.0 pages (the guides, Getting started, Concepts, Building apps including Server functions, and Routing) so they read less like generated text, within the rules in WRITING.md. Code blocks are unchanged, and technical claims and links are kept except where noted. WRITING.md itself is not changed.

  • Openers: many pages opened with a 3–5 sentence storefront scene before saying what the page was for. Each still opens with a concrete situation, as WRITING.md asks, but gets to what the page covers in one or two sentences.
  • Signposts and counts: removed "This guide goes through X, shows Y, and ends with Z" and announced counts ("Three things this code does not do, because Solid does them:").
  • Dense sections: split the semicolon-chained option catalogs in Performance (attribution tables, Performance panel tracks), Observability, Debugging reactivity and the Solid Router data intro into short sentences, lists or tables. The per-option detail for enablePerformanceTracks (label shortening, Server-Timing mapping, minMs/rich/values) now lives only in its reference page, which the guide links.
  • Internals: removed the size-suite cap numbers from Observability, "It does not make speed claims" from Performance, and the "for an assistant working in the repository" aside.
  • Em-dashes: removed from prose in Observability and Observability adapters. Em-dashes in quoted console output are unchanged.
  • Old names: AI tools no longer names Suspense/createResource in its intro.
  • Headings: the only heading that changed is Protected routes' "Three layers, one decision", which is now "Where the check goes". Nothing linked to its anchor.

The third commit reverts an earlier attempt at contractions and at WRITING.md edits, so the net diff has neither.

Checks: pnpm lint:tone gives 0 errors. Prettier is clean. No code blocks changed, so check:examples wasn't re-run.

Not touched: Migration pages, Glossary, Reference, tutorials.

Rewrite the openers of all 19 guides to say what the page is for instead
of staging a scene, drop 'This guide goes through...' signposts and
announced counts, split the densest option catalogs (Performance tracks,
Observability, Debugging reactivity), remove size-suite numbers, and use
common contractions in prose (not headings, so anchors stay stable).

WRITING.md: allow common contractions, discourage scene-setting openers,
and list the patterns this pass removed under 'Patterns that read as
generated'.

…uting

Same treatment as the guides: openers say what the page is for instead
of staging a scene, signposts and dense one-sentence catalogs split up,
common contractions in prose (headings unchanged so anchors stay).

Revert the WRITING.md changes and the contractions: WRITING.md is the
docs team's guide. Restore a concrete situation before definitions in
the openers that had become definition-first (Stores, Async reactivity,
Boundaries, Server functions, Routing overview, Solid Router intro,
Route definitions, Custom primitives).
