Added a manual analysis workflow that accepts an analysis context and produces structured results with build, provenance, and coverage details.
Expanded route analysis across supported frameworks to account for multiple paths, HTTP methods, and route conditions.
Bug Fixes
Route findings now remain possible candidates when based on observed metadata; missing provider data no longer generates synthetic entrypoint findings.
Improved handling of ambiguous, unmatched, and unsupported route mappings.
Documentation
Updated guidance for route analysis, manual integration, and CI checks.
Chores
Added automated checks for adapter tests and spike validation.
The Java adapter expands framework route analysis and records provenance and handoff metadata. New command-line and script workflows load analysis context, produce semantic facts, and validate evidence. The pull request also updates spike observations and adds CI validation.

AnalysisContext now carries expanded provenance and handoff metadata. AnalysisContextLoader reads and validates context JSON. Jackson Databind is added, and a test checks loaded context values.
Framework route extraction and certainty src/main/java/com/projectlightpath/analysis/java/SourceMetadataScanner.java, src/main/java/com/projectlightpath/analysis/java/BoundedFrameworkModel.java, src/main/java/com/projectlightpath/analysis/java/JavaAnalysisAdapter.java, src/test/java/com/projectlightpath/analysis/java/JavaAnalysisAdapterTest.java, docs/flpath-5002-java-adapter.md
Route scanning now handles multiple annotations, paths, methods, and mapping metadata. Route facts use bounded certainty and digest-based IDs. The adapter no longer synthesizes provider facts for absent framework callers. Tests and documentation cover route evidence and related cases.
Run metadata carries handoff data, and the JSON writer emits semantic facts. The manual command and integration script run analysis and validate context, provenance, and capability evidence.
Spike evidence and CI validation spike/results/sootup-3.0.1-java21-quarkus-observation.json, spike/scripts/normalize_static_analysis.py, spike/scripts/validate_spike.py, docs/flpath-5000-java-readiness.md, .github/workflows/adapter-tests.yml, README.md
The SootUp observation records updated Java 21 measurements and lambda caller identifiers. Normalization matches generated caller method prefixes. Spike validation requires caller evidence, and CI runs adapter tests and spike validation.

Merge Risk: Minimal · up to 57594
Method-less Spring routes now produce bounded route facts, including under class-level method restrictions. No actionable merge-blocking issue is established.
Security architecture risk: Low · up to 57594
Route evidence becomes more conservative, and framework inference is separated from provider observations. The new handoff is exercised through a local command rather than a demonstrated network-facing service. Remaining uncertainty concerns trust in prepared inputs and safe reuse of result files; production isolation and downstream acceptance guarantees are not established here.
Retained concerns
No architecture-level concerns identified.
Security review details
Security Blast Radius
inferred — The demonstrated exposure is local analysis-process filesystem authority and the integrity of its emitted results. Supplied context paths select source, application classes, and dependencies for reading; the CLI selects the output destination. The inspected caller path does not establish remote reachability or cross-tenant authority.
Trust Boundaries and Controls
observed — The loader validates required fields, absolute paths, existence, and lexical source-root containment. It does not establish real-path confinement or authenticate supplied provenance, and freshness values are propagated rather than enforced. These are structural input controls, not proof that an untrusted context is safe or current.
Resilience and Maintainability Implications
observed — Facts and capability evidence are written directly to their destinations, without atomic replacement or removal of earlier output on failure. Reusing a destination can therefore leave stale or interrupted output. The supplied runner limits this failure mode through unique run directories and stop-on-error ordering; no downstream promotion mechanism was available to establish a security consequence.
Hardening Proposals
proposed — Before adopting this local chain for automated security decisions, define which component authenticates prepared inputs and enforces freshness, bind accepted results to the complete preparation identity, and publish validated outputs atomically. Apply filesystem confinement if contexts can originate outside the invoking user's trust boundary.

Explanation
Docstring coverage is 0.00% which is insufficient. The required threshold is 80.00%. Docstring coverage is scoped to functions touched by this diff with cyclomatic complexity of at least 2. Documentation-only edits and deletions within surviving functions are included; unchanged diff context and fully deleted functions are excluded. Analyzed 50 functions across 13 files. (2 skipped: 2 unsupported.)
Resolution
Write docstrings for the functions missing them to satisfy the coverage threshold.
