- 🏥 Most recently at Tanjer Infosystems LLC in Dubai (until Oct 2026), I deployed and supported the Heartbeat hospital management system on Apache Tomcat and MySQL Server for client hospitals in the UAE.
- 🔭 I'm the backend and DevOps lead on ClassMates, a portfolio of six collaborative products. The biggest is Yoton, a live multi-country hospital management system and EMR. Its ASP.NET Core (.NET 10) API exposes about 500 REST endpoints across 47 controllers.

I deployed the Heartbeat hospital management system for client hospitals end to end, from server provisioning through go-live. That covered installing and securing Apache Tomcat, administering the MySQL Server databases in production, and resolving client-server issues across end-user machines, Tomcat and MySQL. I also designed BIRT management reports and ran onsite training and support, including integrating signature pads, printers and tablets.

I built cross-platform Android and iOS apps with Xamarin.Forms, .NET MAUI and Flutter, and integrated third-party APIs and SDKs. I optimised native Kotlin and Swift components to fix multi-platform issues. I also set up Azure DevOps CI/CD workflows for client projects such as Evergreen 3C and Nextly.
ClassMates is a portfolio of products for healthcare, education, travel, hiring and service counters. I own the APIs, databases, CI/CD, deployment and mobile apps, and a frontend developer owns the web interfaces.

🔍 A closer look at Yoton, the flagship
- Country-aware by design. A region engine handles Qatar, UAE and India: currency, national ID formats, VAT or GST (with the CGST/SGST split) and vaccine schedules. It includes 17 regulator KPI reports exported to Excel for Qatar MoPH. None of it is hardcoded per country.
- Multi-tenant and access-controlled. EF Core global query filters and soft delete isolate each tenant's data. Access is checked in two layers, ASP.NET roles and per-module grants, and changes sync to clients in real time.
- Patient data protection. Patient PII is encrypted with AES at the field level. Refresh tokens are hashed and rotated, with reuse detection. There's per-platform rate limiting, and the audit log is redacted and keeps record history.
- Real-time. About 160 SignalR broadcast events, plus staff-patient chat with read receipts. Background services send attendance and immunisation reminders, and inventory is tracked in a lot-based FEFO ledger.
- Deployment. The API runs in Docker on Render via
render.yaml. A GitHub Actions keep-alive workflow prevents cold-start timeouts. For on-premises installs, the API migrates and seeds itself on startup. - Patient app. It's React Native (Expo, TypeScript) with feature parity to the original MAUI app, plus a biometric lock, screenshot blocking and secure token storage. CI runs typecheck, lint and Jest on every push and builds signed Android AAB/APK releases on version tags.
The ClassMates source repositories are private. I'm happy to walk through the code in an interview.
