I'm a Software Developer with a degree in Web Information Systems and Technologies and hands-on experience contributing to healthcare client projects at PHORMULA GROUP. I build web and mobile applications across frontend and backend, from React and React Native interfaces to Node.js/Express APIs and databases. I value problem-solving, maintainable code and teamwork, and I'm always open to new technologies, with a growing interest in DevOps and automation.
Activulse is my bachelor's final project in Web Information Systems and Technologies (TSIW) at ESMAD — P.PORTO (2023/2024). It is a cross-platform React Native application for cardiovascular risk assessment, physical activity tracking and personalized health guidance, supported by a Node.js/Express REST API and MySQL database.
The project combined software development with academic research and collaboration with ESS — School of Health (P.PORTO) on the problem domain, requirements and evidence-based guidance.
Published conference abstract (2026): Mobile Application for Cardiovascular Risk Assessment, co-authored with Leonor Miranda and Mário Pinto, featured in the Book of Abstracts of the 8th Meeting on Medicinal Biotechnology (May 2026).
Main areas: React & TypeScript, React Native, Node.js & Express, REST APIs, SQL databases, testing and CI/CD.
ORM / ODM experience: Sequelize, SQLAlchemy and Mongoose.
