  • The comment on the macOS row said it would move back to macos-14 once mcpp's host_link_tokens change ships. GitHub retires macos-14 on 2026-11-02 ([macOS] macOS 14 Sonoma retirement: GitHub Actions and ADO arm64 on November 2; ADO Intel on November 23 actions/runner-images#13518), so macos-15 is the oldest image there is; the comment now says so.

  • MCPP_BOOTSTRAP and MCPP_EDITOR_VERSION move to 2026.10.27.1, the release MCPP_VERSION states, as the comment on MCPP_BOOTSTRAP prescribes. main last passed with MCPP_SOURCE_REF=release/2026.10.27.1; with the variable removed, every job fetched 2026.10.26.2 and the package floor (mcpp >= 2026.10.27.1) refused it.

…6-11-02, so the note that it moves back no longer holds

… the jobs fetched 2026.10.26.2, which the package floor refuses, once MCPP_SOURCE_REF was removed

…hever others the engine lists -- 2026.10.27.1 lists zip and single-file beside tar and dir
