Summary

• Upgrade @wca/helpers to 2.0.0 and request WCIF v2 explicitly, using native attempts, personal bests, cutoffs, nullable registrant IDs and participation rules.
• Fix preview UAT defects: FMC DNF/DNS formatting, single-ranked blind-event seed order, duplicate Best columns, invalid-competition errors, accessible bookmark/help/search controls, search restoration on Back/Forward and subscriptions started without a valid competition.
• Support dual rounds explicitly: preserve official shared ranks and component results, show linked-round context/navigation (including dual finals and empty second components), use declared participation sources for group seeds and evaluate linked advancement across distinct entrants and either component.
• Add synthetic regressions and public round-only FMC East Melbourne / Hong Kong fixtures with source provenance.

Targets beta. No merge or production deployment.

Validation

Final tested commit: 948c7eab174bbfdb6efc8bacbb4f79a6473ce921.

• Jest: 47 suites, 238 tests and 2 snapshots passed.
• TypeScript passed.
• ESLint: 0 errors, the same 3 pre-existing warnings in unchanged files.
• Production and Storybook builds passed (existing bundle-size warnings).
• Local final checks used Node 24.22.1; GitHub Test, Lint and Type Check workflows all passed for this commit.
• Netlify preview deployed successfully. Browser applied the actual PWA Refresh now prompt and verified build 948c7ea.
• Rechecked all 15 competition home pages from the initial UAT, including 2,034 WC2025 entries and 508 FMC World entries. FMC East Melbourne now has 16 accepted entrants: fresh source data removed one entrant since the earlier 17-entry sample.
• Focused browser regressions passed for FMC DNF/DNS, blind seeds, multi-blind column count, invalid route, accessibility labels, accented search and Back/Forward, dual-round/component/personal results and schedule labels, MIT's empty results, and WC2025's 1,823-result published-data fallback.
• No application console errors observed in the final regression sweep; browser-extension noise excluded.

Original migration validation also included a frozen Yarn install and real-data smoke against Spooky Solving Frisco WCIF 2.2.

Scope and limits

Public/read-only data only. Authenticated/admin workflows and genuine mobile/device emulation were not retested. Qualification markers follow configured advancement conditions; actual later-round rosters can differ after withdrawals and replacements.
