Drop Thin (Puma is the server) and exclude the rubocop group from bundle install.
Keep target/, tmp/, dumps and logs out of the ADD layer that was bloating the image.
Build VROOM and Ruby extensions in the same layers that remove toolchains, headers, and cargo caches so they do not stay in the final image.
Uninstall matplotlib and its stack after installing pyvrp; only the solver path is used at runtime.
The API always supplies matrices and never uses choose-ETA, so skip ssl/asio/glpk at build and runtime.
One package index refresh with BuildKit caches, drop the trixie/gcc-13 detour, and only purge the toolchain after native gems compile.
Bookworm g++ 12 cannot compile VROOM's <format> usage; keep gcc-13 from trixie for that build only and purge it after bundle.
mission_ids is a derived Array copy, so in-place delete_if/map! left initial routes intact when services were marked unfeasible.
Purging libgeos-dev removed the C API shared lib; Zone#inside then hit an undefined CAPIPolygonImpl constant.
Periodic heuristic consumes original ids and emits missions objects; write-through expansion forced ortools initial routes and regressed schedule+solver unassigned counts.
Index matrices, track unavailable services without scanning every route, use Hash membership for candidate/to_plan ids, and fix local expand/rests bugs while documenting empty OR-Tools warm-start.
