• No envelope-level size bound: apps can only bound their own term, not the quantity the broker rejects on

• FaultTypes.MODEL_CONTEXT_WINDOW_EXCEEDED is never minted — the docstring teaches branching on a code nothing produces

• MessageSizeTooLargeError is uncaught on the normal publish path (only handled on the fault rung ladder)

• inbox_topic couples reply/callback routing with topic consumption: fire-and-forget/observer clients log a WARNING per unmatched reply

• No public traversal enumerates independent failure paths without also surfacing __cause__ chain detail

  calf-ai/calfkit-sdk#330 · Filter by author ryan-yuuu opened on Jul 5, 2026

• Consumer enters unbounded, un-throttled metadata loop when subscribed topics vanish (e.g. after broker restart)

  calf-ai/calfkit-sdk#328 · Filter by author ryan-yuuu opened on Jul 4, 2026

• client.mesh.get_tools()/get_agents() hangs forever on a reachable broker with a missing topic (no MeshUnavailableError; catchup_timeout not honored)
