Adds browser coverage for React Router development refresh. Editing a route and reverting it must preserve local state and the current document without triggering recoverable errors.

Verified with published Redact 0.3.1 and native React in Chromium, Firefox, and WebKit. The rebased tree is identical to the locally verified tree.

Follow-up to #152 for #88.

Summary by CodeRabbit

  • Tests
    • Expanded React Router development-mode checks to confirm that page changes appear during hot refresh while the current counter state and document remain intact. The checks also verify router recovery behavior and detect page errors, providing broader coverage of what happens as the app updates and recovers during development.

Walkthrough

The React Router test runner now supports development mode. It starts a Vite fixture server and checks refresh behavior, retained page state, router recovery, and page errors. The workflow runs this development check alongside the existing test.

Changes: React Router development refresh testing

Layer / File(s) Summary
Development server and runner mode
scripts/test-react-router.mjs, tests/fixtures/react-router-framework/dev-server.mjs
The runner accepts --development and selects development settings and the fixture's Vite server. The fixture listens on an ephemeral port at 127.0.0.1 and sends the port to the runner.
Refresh validation and workflow
scripts/test-react-router.mjs, .github/workflows/react-router.yml
The development check edits and restores the fixture source. It checks renderer selection, updated content, retained counter and document state, router recovery, and page errors. The workflow runs the runner with --development.
