This release brings the PHP client onto PHP 8.4+, updates its dependencies and quality checks, and introduces the
AuthUserAPI, an authentication-completion callback, PSR URI input and configurable return URIs.UserandgetUser()remain deprecated compatibility APIs.The release branch now includes the latest
masterchanges. Conflict resolution preserves explicit logout redirect destinations, encrypted login return queries, raw+characters in response ciphers, and the release branch's at-most-once authentication callbacks. Stored return queries survive callback failure and response reprocessing.Validation:
composer testpasses locally on PHP 8.5 (57 tests, 110 assertions, PHPStan level 6, PHP_CodeSniffer and PHPMD). All 24 GitHub checks pass across PHP 8.4 and PHP 8.5, including coverage. CI now uses the Composer-locked PHPMD binary so its CLI matches the locally tested version.Target:
master, which is the default branch and the integration base for future library work. Existing logout, profile, return-path and documentation issues remain separate follow-up work; this PR resolves the release merge conflicts.
