Hi, I'm Aryan 👋

I've worked with React and TypeScript for 9 years, from 30+ client websites to the design system and dashboards of an HR platform with 400+ customers.

Most of my work is frontend architecture: design systems, data-heavy dashboards, caching, and SSO with role-based access. I also write the Node.js endpoints behind my features. I like finding what users struggle with, proposing the fix, and shipping it.

I live in Berlin on an EU Blue Card and I'm open to senior frontend and product engineer roles, in Berlin or remote in Germany. No sponsorship needed, available at short notice.

What I'm working on

At AgyleOS (Senior Frontend Engineer, since 2023)

  • The component library and design system, built in Storybook and Tailwind CSS to WCAG standards
  • HR dashboards in React and TypeScript, where caching layers and custom data hooks cut load time from 3.5 s to about 1.4 s
  • Per-tenant SSO with Keycloak and role-based access control for enterprise customers
  • Code reviews and pairing with the rest of an 8-person team

On the side: TaleSelf

A language-learning story game where you are the main character. You make choices, and an LLM writes the next story branch at your level, from A1 to C2. 22 languages to learn, 9 app languages including RTL. Generation takes a few seconds, so instead of a spinner the app fills the wait with quick flashcard drills.

Solo project, idea to app, currently in Android closed testing. Stack: Flutter, TypeScript, Fastify, PostgreSQL, Drizzle, Gemini on Vertex AI.

Before that

  • Londonist (Senior Frontend Engineer & Team Lead): led the Student Portal used by thousands of UK-based students. Reworking core UX flows cut support tickets by about 20%, and a shorter checkout for booking services lifted sales by about 10%.
  • G Corporation (Frontend Team Lead): led the frontend for Mehrtakhfif, a discount-coupon platform, in React and Next.js.
  • Eris Rayanesh Afzar (Frontend Developer): 30+ client websites, from requirements to launch.

Tools I use

Daily: React · Next.js · TypeScript · Tailwind CSS · Storybook · React Query · Redux Toolkit · Node.js · Figma

Also: GraphQL · REST · Express · Fastify · PostgreSQL · Drizzle · Flutter · Keycloak · OAuth2 · Jest · Cypress · Playwright · Testing Library · Claude Code · Cursor

Familiar with: Go · Rust

How I like to work

  • Understand the user problem before picking a solution
  • Keep components boring, accessible and easy to reuse
  • Measure before optimising, then make it fast
  • Review code to share context, not to gatekeep
